AMTRA FILPO CLICK – innovative line of compact internal filters for aquariums with intelligent system for replacing the pre-filter: the front cartridge, useful for mechanical and chemical water filtration, can be replaced in just one “CLICK”, without removing the filter from the aquarium. This allows to preserve the filtering bacterial flora present in the biological materials housed inside the filter. In this way it is possible to clean the filter without risking to lose the important bacterial filtering mass, thus ensuring an aquarium stable over time and always crystal-clear water.
Inside the large filter body are housed the materials for the biological filtration of water: sponge and sintered glass balls with very high porosity for the installation of both nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria.
Installation is very simple and quick: the filter must be positioned inside the aquarium, fixing it to the glass using the suction cups supplied.
Adjustable water flow rate and “Spray bar” included to improve the oxygenation of the water if necessary.
The pre-filter cartridge supplied as standard (CARTUCCIA CARBONE FILPO CLICK) is made of activated carbon plus filter wool. It is recommended to rinse the cartridge under running water every 7-10 days and to replace it every 15-20 days to always guarantee the correct flow of water to the pump and to keep the filtering power of the activated carbon unchanged. This cartridge is for single use.
In addition to the CARBON CARTRIDGE FILPO CLICK, the range includes a cartridge with 3 replaceable activated carbon sponges (CARTUCCIA SPUGNA FILPO CLICK): in this case the plastic front of the cartridge acts as a support for the pre-cut sponges that can also be purchased individually as spare consumables (SPUGNA CARBONE FILPO CLICK). Also for these sponges we recommend washing every 7-10 days and complete replacement every 15-20 days.
Suitable for use in both freshwater and saltwater aquariums.
