AMTRA POND BIOFILTER SET 6000 – external “gravity” filter for the pond including pump, UVC lamp and connection tube.

AMTRA POND BIOFILTER SET 6000 is a complete kit to guarantee the correct filtration of ornamental ponds from 1.000 to 6.000 liters.
The package includes all the accessories for correct installation and commissioning of the filter:

  • specific pump for pond with protective shell and flow rate of 2.500 l/h
  • connection hose
  • 9 Watt UVC sterilizer
  • sponges for mechanical filtration and bioballs for biological filtration
  • thermometer for the water temperature
  • filter clogging indicator

In the filter, the sponges are installed on a specific support that allows their quick removal and easy cleaning. The various filter materials are housed in separate filtration chambers so that the correct circulation of water inside the filter determines the excellent water purification process.
The passage of water through the UVC sterilizer is essential for the elimination of bothersome single-celled algae that lead to the unsightly formation of “green water”. It is also useful for controlling the proliferation of parasites and pathogenic germs.
In the lid there is a thermometer for detecting the water temperature and a practical float indicator to know the clogging status of the filter materials and therefore when it is necessary to clean the filter.
