AMTRA CATAPPA LEAVES – pack containing 30 dried leaves of Indian Almond (Terminalia catappa).
The leaves, rich in tannins and humic acids have significant antibacterial and antioxidant properties. They are particularly recommended for lowering the pH in a natural way and for giving to water a slightly amber color, typical of natural black water biotopes.
The product is highly appreciated by “Caridina” and other freshwater shrimps and crustaceans of freshwater habitat for which it also acts as a food supplement.
Ideal for recreating South American biotopes where “Wild” fish such as Discus, Altum and Loricarids are housed.
We recommend the use of one leaf every 50 liters of aquarium water.
Rinse thoroughly under running water before use.
By inserting the dry leaves directly into the aquarium they will float for a few days before sinking.
