AMTRA SQUARE REEF is the innovative square-based line of “sump” technical equipment for the filtration of sea water. The development of this particular design was preferred to the more classic cylinder because, with the same overall dimensions, a parallelepiped has about 30% more volume (and therefore a wider filtering capacity): AMTRA SQUARE REEF optimizes the overall dimensions in sump ensuring improved performance. For example, for an aquarium with a capacity of up to 750 liters, you will need less than 35 x 20 cm of space in sump to easily install a skimmer and a calcium reactor, while you will need less than 40 x 25cm of space for a 1500 liter tank.

AMTRA SQUARE SKIM professional sump skimmer for marine aquarium. Innovative square base to reduce the size in sump and improve its performance. Dual regulation mode: water outlet and air inlet. Integrated silencer. Double anti-vibration feet system (on the base of the skimmer and between the pump and the skimmer base). Simplified assembly without the need for tools. Easy to adjust and clean. Recommended for use in sump with water level between 20 and 25 cm.
Available in two sizes: 18 x 18 x 51.5 cm and 23 x 23 x 55 cm. 55 cm.
For each measure there are two versions:
– basic version with 220 Volt pump and needle impeller;
– premium version “TITANIUM” with low voltage DC pump equipped with electronic controller for flow regulation and impeller in Titanium mesh. The possibility of adjusting the hourly flow of the water allows a better more professional adjustment of the foaming of the appliance according to the real needs of the aquarium. The impeller in Titanium mesh is almost eternal compared to those in “needle” plastic, considerably improving the formation of bubbles of very small diameter.
