AMTRA NIAGARA is a line of professional” Hang On” external filters for small and medium-sized aquariums.
The extremely silent pump directly takes the water from the aquarium, then circulating it inside the filter basket in which the cartridge with activated carbon and the sponge for the bacteria settlement are housed. Clean water returns to the tank with a waterfall, optimally oxygenating. The practical internal cartridges are easily replaceable. Mechanical and chemical filtering is carried out by the activated carbon cartridge, while biological filtering by the black sponge. To increase the biological capacity, it is possible to replace the black sponge with AMTRA GLAX RING MINI or AMTRA GLAX STONE ULTRA (not included).
The installation on the poolside is extremely fast and easy without any tube to be connected or other appliance to be assembled.
The flow of water is adjustable through the tap located on the top of the filter. The suction tube is extendable and a grid prevents accidental suction of animals or particles that could block the pump.
